On September 29, 2009, AGC of NH sent a letter to the Department of Labor (DOL) questioning the PLA requirement on the Job Corp Facility to be built in Manchester, NH. The Association questioned the 100% small business set-aside requirement as well. AGC of NH sent their letter in support of AGC of America's letter to further emphasize the unrealistic nature of the requirements. Click on the link to read the full letter.
On September 23, 2009, AGC of America wrote a letter to the Department of Labor (DOL) questioning their use of a PLA on the Job Corp project which will be built in Manchester, NH. AGC of America worked with AGC of NH to highlight the major concerns with the requirement. On September 30, 2009, AGC of America released their construction recovery plan, "Build Now for the Future: A Blueprint for Economic Change" to the media and public. The report describes a series of incentives, tax credits, and policy changes designed to boost new private and public sector demand for construction. Click on the link to view the full report.
2012 is fast approaching, and with it comes the re-establishment of AGC of NH’s Committees. There are several committees to belong to, and each plays a role in the legislative activities of the Association. Members currently serving do not need to fill out the form, but must notify their committee contact person that they would like to continue to serve on that committee. The template is sized for the Avery standard labels #8372, which produces 2" H x 3.5" W business-card sized certificates.
