The MacMillin Company is a construction manager, design/builder and general contractor. We are headquartered in Keene, NH, with offices in Wells, ME and Bedford, NH. We manage construction projects in northern New England across a wide range of markets including education, health care, manufacturing, government and municipal projects. Our project portfolio shows most all of our recent work and some of the larger projects from our history.
The MacMillin story starts in 1946 when Guy MacMillin started the company in order to provide quality construction services. Jim Walker and Norm Cotton bought the company in 1965, and during this period introduced true construction management to New England. Now, nearly 70 years later MacMillin is still owned by the Walker Family and we maintain our professional, but personal approach to managing all of our projects. This approach has resulted in industry recognition for excellence in construction, commitment to safety, and industry ethics.
Our many repeat clients are a testament of our accessibility, honesty and our open book philosophy. We utilize current proven construction technologies, and techniques that save our clients time and money. Our simple internal motto of “Do It Right” is applied to everything we do, and results in a long list of projects that we are proud to have in our portfolio.
